Jockey Paul Harvey and trainer Trevor Andrews have combined to win the Two Year Old Magic Millions at Ascot this afternoon, with the promising Lucky Street winning emphatically.

After two career starts back in October last year, the writing was on the wall with a five length second-up victory and the Oratorio colt entered today’s race as favourite.

“It was a great ride by Paul (Harvey), he appeared a little flat footed early but he drove him through and despite over-racing early, he got him into a good position” said Andrews after the race.

Light Up The Sky for Neville Parnham was an impressive finisher running second, with bolter Dickey improving on a luckless first up performance to grab third from Diamond Tonique.

Lucky Street made it an exceptional day for breeders Mungrup Stud, winning with Red Ora earlier in the day.

Lucky Street won in a very sharp 1.05.43 and by 2.5 lengths over the 1100 metres.
